p>A few months after its big debut at this year's E3, Minecraft has finally appeared on the Android Market, much to the delight of cube enthusiasts and all those who love to waste time. Mojang hopes to faithfully recreate Minecraft on mobile platforms with this Pocket Edition app. Mojang is focusing on the game's creativity. Version Alpha 0.1 will let players explore random worlds and invite their friends to join their worlds, and save multi-player realms to their phones. You can also control 36 different kinds of blocks with the ease of their touchscreens. At present the game will be available on Sony Ericsson's Xperia Play, though Mojang plans to release it for other Android handsets "in the near future."
