p>Students received information from Silver Fern and Northern Mystics player Laura Langman, athlete and Carabiner Mentoring Programme founder Cam Calkoen, adventurer and presenter of TV One's First Crossings series Jamie Fitzgerald the chief executive of The Mind Lab Frances Valintine and Attitude Programmes for Schools presenter Charlie Laumatia.

p>The NYLD events of this year challenge students to live a 3D life by dreaming, daring and building their leadership capabilities.

p>Annette Fale, manager of NYLD The NYLD manager says that the 3D life is like watching a movie that explodes onto the screen.

p>"Imagine what your life could look like. Then chase that dream. Do the courageous things that make life an adventure. Discover your strengths. There is more in you waiting to be discovered. Students were taught that determination, vision and determination are the keys to a successful life.

p>Frances Valintine was the driving force behind Media Design School. In 2013 she opened The Mind Lab in Newmarket The Mind Lab is a facility devoted to teaching electronics, robotics programming, filmmaking animation, science technology and animation to children aged 4 to 15 years old.

p>Frances challenged the leaders of tomorrow to prepare for an ever-changing future.

p>"To prepare for the future, you need to open your mind to be curious. It is your strongest asset, not technology, not how well you play Minecraft but curiosity and discovery," Frances said, as students wrote notes in their notebooks.
