p>Another month and another Raptr report. Yesterday Raptr.com released its top PC games list for November and MMOs did rather well. It's not surprising that World of Warcraft surged up the list to number 2 thanks to the Warlords of Draenor expansion. Raptr's press release states that "The MMO’s monthly play time increased 71% compared to October." While WoW "likely" was influenced by League of Legends' numbers but it didn't quite take over the MOBA's #1 seat. https://tulipbanjo74.bloggersdelight.dk/2022/09/15/hosting-of-dark-and-light-servers/ </p>

p>ArcheAge playtime fell by 39.97 percent, while World of Tanks (and Final Fantasy XIV) had an increase in their playtime. Guild Wars 2 rose in rank, Raptr says, but it saw less play time in November in comparison to. October. SWTOR dropped two spots in October.

p>As with all roundups, Raptr roundups come with the caveat that they represent Raptr users on PCs not all gamers. Some MMO studios are also known to boost their Raptr numbers through in-game incentives. These games may not release data on their population therefore you could consider this the most reliable indicator of the game's popularity, aside from a tour of the servers.

/p>

p>Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Dragon Age: Inquisition made their debuts on the Most Played List this month. World of Warcraft's most recent expansion gave the ten-year-old MMO an upsurge and Spider Solitaire was a surprise to make it back into the top 20 after an absence of more than a full year. They know who the culprits are.

/p>

p>Highlights

/p>

p>League of Legends maintained its first position in November despite losing 15.88 percent of its time playing in comparison to October. The game reached its peak at the beginning of the month after the Halloween sales event. While the game was stable for most of the month there were some delays due to the 4.20 update.

/p>

p>World of Warcraft's Warlords of Draenor likely pulled time from LoL and other major games. The MMO's monthly playtime was up 71.3 percent compared to October. As expected, the expansion and 10 years of anniversary events for the game significantly impacted daily play time, which roughly doubled after the launch of the Draenor expansion, and continued to grow through the end of November.

/p>

p>The other top five games were not as lucky. DOTA 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Smite which topped ArcheAge for fifth place, all saw a net drop in hours. DOTA 2 and CS.GO saw double-digit decreases (12.49 percent and 11.59% respectively) However, Smite dropped less than one percent.

/p>

p>Archeage dropped by 39.97% and Smite has made a modest climb to the top of the list.

/p>

p>The downward trend continued with Minecraft (-11.70 percent) and Diablo III (down almost 45 percent -we blame WoW) and Hearthstone (13.11 percent). However we are expecting an increase in December due to Goblins Vs Gnomes.

/p>

p>Chart newcomer Dragon Age: Inquisition made an impressive debut in November's Most Popular Games, placing tenth despite a late November release.

/p>

p>World of Tanks saw a reduction in playing time, but it managed to gain 7.72 percent more playtime than October. Although the WGLNA Gold League Qualifying Rounds took place throughout the month, play was at its highest on Thanksgiving weekend due to XP multipliers, holiday deals on premium products, and Thanksgiving weekend.

/p>

p>Final Fantasy XIV increased in the amount of time played by 20.97 percent. This could be due to the launch of the Game of the Year edition which added 60 days of adventure (plus the previously released content), in late October and early November. Mid-month DDOS attacks that caused login issues, did not have a major impact on the game's playtime.

/p>

p>Warframe and Guild Wars 2 each rose in ranking, despite losing play time in November compared to October. Warframe hosted an Movember community event that led to the setting of a Guinness World Record. Guild Wars 2's Tangled Path content released with new areas and skins, items and more.

/p>

p>Call of Duty: Advance Warfare -- always an Xbox juggernaut was released in the first week of November, and based on the latest trends we may not have it on December's Most Played.

/p>

p>For the first time since October 2013, Spider Solitaire made its way back into Most Played. It turns out that Thanksgiving isn't only about football, turkey and arguing with family members It's also about playing Solitaire because the hours of gameplay for the month peaked on the 27th of November.

/p>

p>Note: The Share number for each game represents the amount of time that was spent on the title by Raptr members. It is helpful to assess the relative play time of different games.
