p>A couple of days ago, I informed a couple of friends who were former gamers that after my softball game I wouldn't be able to go out and buy something to eat because I had to go home and play WoW. It was our weekly raid night. One of our friends told me, "Why bother?" Why even play WoW? I use to play but then gave up; it all became about numbers." The other just stood there nodding his head in agreement.

p>I was left thinking, "Why do I play WoW?" It's not like I have other things to do to occupy my time. I have books to read and sports to play and friends and family with whom I can spend time. My life was good without WoW. I'm pretty sure my life would be as great if the Blizzard servers crashed indefinitely (God forbid!), making WoW impossible to play. Why do I even bother playing WoW?

/p>

p>First, I am in it for the camaraderie. Our club is like a group that I haven't yet met, but I still enjoy. I am a fan of working with people from all over the nation and even Canada to accomplish an objective that is common to all. The second reason is that I began playing Dungeons and Dragons more than 30 years ago, well before most of my guildies were born. D&D is in my blood. https://anotepad.com/notes/hik5362n WoW is very close to replicating my D&D experience. It's all about numbers. I enjoy trying to focus my mind to produce the best DPS I can. When we defeat the new boss, I feel a sense accomplishment.

/p>

p>That's why I play. Why do you play?
