p>Following a massive hoax bomb that shut down hundreds of colleges and schools across the UK, a teenager believed to be in the middle of a Minecraft gamers' dispute was arrested.

p>The 19-year-old was arrested by Hertfordshire police after 24,000 threats were sent to schools informing them of imminent bomb attacks in the event that cash was not handed over.

p>The emails were faked to appear as if they had been sent by a gaming platform called VeltPvP. VeltPvP is an Minecraft player-versus player server, of the kind that companies use to sell products to gamers.

p>A teenager who is believed to be at the center of the Minecraft gamers feud was arrested following an explosion that shut down hundreds of schools across the UK. Hertfordshire police arrested the 19-year-old after 24,000 emails were sent out to schools warning about the threat of attack.

p>These emails were sent to disable VeltPvP and were designed to cause the abuse of the domain to be suspended.

p>The National Crime Agency (NCA), stated that there was no real threat to the emails received this week.

p>In a statement, they said that they understood teachers and parents concerns, but we want to stress that there was no credible threat to the school's emails.

p>People involved in the squabble claimed opponents had engaged in illegal acts to hinder one another's business.

p>'It is horrible and it's not the most pleasant thing', one of the hoaxers who were involved in the scam stated when asked if they regretted the impact the letters had had on the school students who were forced to leave.

p>Parents were urged to collect their children following the threat of a bomb hoax email

p>VeltPvP issued a statement saying that they were being hounded and harassed by cybercriminals.

p>We're very sorry for anyone who was affected by this, but be aware that it's fake.'

p>The email was sent to more than 400 colleges and universities across the country. It claimed that the bomb was already planted and would explode if money wasn't given.

p>Police forces in London, Bristol, Liverpool, Bedfordshire and the the North East were among those conducting an investigation.
