It supports Mojang as well as Microsoft logins. Start by opening the main PolyMC Settings and then click Minecraft in the left pane. Select the option to close PolyMC after the game window appears. If you do not then the Steam Deck will switch between the two windows when you load in Game Mode/ Deck UI. Ensure that Java is up-to-date in PolyMC Settings. This is essential for the latest version of Minecraft. Click Add Instance in the top left, then pick either normal Minecraft or locate mods using the built-in search and it installs everything for you.
