p>Just in time the beta test of Microsoft's Augmented Reality Minecraft game is now available for Android players to give it an attempt. Similar to the beta version that iOS users have had access to, Minecraft Earth is still restricted to registered testers only and available in just five cities: Mexico City, London, Tokyo, Seattle and Stockholm. According to those already in, if you're having issues with the invitation email, try clicking the link included from your mobile device instead of on your computer.

p>The Minecraft Earth beta recently reset its AR playing field and was updated to version 2.0.0 on iOS. Crafters Earth reports that has brought in familiar mobs like spiders and creepers into the game plus a number of challenges and adventures. The in-game store lets players to use the Rubies currency to purchase plates for building and other items. A blog post mentions that Android players can buy them in the game's store right now, with access on iOS coming shortly. Any rubies purchased or earned will be credited to a player's account through the beta test, and after the game is released.
