p>Since its Early Access launch this week, V Rising, a vampire survival game, has been a huge success on Steam. However, the need for a constant internet connection has proved to be as troublesome for some players as a gargle necklace. Fortunately, the developer Stunlock Studios has said it'll be adding the capability to play offline quickly - possibly before the end of the week.

p>"Many players have been asking about the status of offline play, and the ability to play on a private server that has absolutely no connection to internet," the developers say in an official message to the V Rising Discord server. "Right now the game doesn't permit this, however it is our goal to make sure it will."

p>Stunlock says offline play is currently prioritised, and the studio believes that it will be available "some time within the next couple of days, but may be earlier." The studio also apologized for players who've experienced difficulties due to unstable internet connections or other obstacles to getting into V Rising and testing out their new fangs.
