p>Technoblade, a Minecraft YouTuber was killed at the age of 23. His family shared an emotional farewell video on behalf of him.

p>The video, which was titled "solong nerds" was shared to his 10 million followers and showed his father saying that he was "the most amazing child anyone could ever hope for".

p>The US internet sensation gained fame by livestreaming and sharing videos of himself playing the video game sandbox.

/p>

p>In the year 2000, Technoblade revealed to fans that he had been diagnosed with cancer.

/p>

p>The message of farewell that he wrote hours before his death and read by his father, began: "Hello everyone, Technoblade here. This is what you should be seeing. I am dead."

p>He then admitted that his real name was Alex. He also recalled the time he fooled viewers to believe his name be Dave.

/p>

p>He said, "Thank you all so much for supporting my work throughout these years," he added. "If I had another hundred years to live, I think I would choose to be Technoblade over and over again because those were the most joyful years of my life."

p>The online star who has won Minecraft tournaments, and had a throng of fans talking about him in a funny way when playing the game revealed in a February video for fundraising that he received radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and a limb rescue operation following the development of a painful tumour.

p>Sarcoma, which is a rare form of bone and soft tissue cancer was the reason for his death.

/p>

p>He announced his diagnosis of cancer in August 2021. He explained that he initially believed that the pain he was experiencing was due to an injury from repetitive stress due to playing too much. When his arm began to swell, he went to hospital and was later diagnosed with cancer.

p>In the wake of news of his passing the gamers, fans and YouTubers paid tribute on the internet.

p>"I'll never forget the day I met Technoblade," recalled J Schlatt. "I went to work early in order to play in a Minecraft tournament with Technoblade. I was unsure of how to play... but the dude managed to get us through the whole event.

p>"Rest in peace, big guy. You'll be a legend for the rest of your life.

p>YouTuber Captain Puffy also known as Cara, tweeted: "Rest In Peace Technoblade. He always treated me with the utmost respect. https://hunt-torp.federatedjournals.com/massively-exclusive-jacobs-on-camelot-unchaineds-kickstarter-home-stretch-1663201934 I was never denied from anything." He could not be more gracious!"

p>Tommy Innit stated that "Technoblade" is a legend. I cannot express how grateful I am to have been in his life, from being a huge fan to one of his closest friends. I am sure he is working in heaven to overcome God ...".

p>"I've been watching Technoblade's films for the past hour," added Ludwig Ahgren. "He was so clever and humble in the most difficult of times. I'll always look up to him."

p>Quackity also expressed his gratitude on social media, posting: "I had the opportunity to express to Technoblade the admiration and gratitude I felt for him, not only for the huge impact that he had on us all but also for keeping his amazing humour, even in the most difficult times. I will miss him so much."

p>Technoblade's dad thanked fans in the farewell video, noting: "You meant a lot to him."

p>He explained that a percentage from online orders for the items of his son would be donated to the cause.

p>The video concluded with a statement from his family. It read: "We, the family of Technoblade wanted everyone to know how much he loved and respected his fans and his colleagues.

p>Technoblade was online since the beginning of his existence. He was always seeking ways to please and reward his followers. He gave prizes away online, encouraged good sportsmanship, and shared his Minecraft adventures for laughter and entertainment.
