p>Tubecon is an international community-driven YouTube event that brings together YouTube creators and audiences in large-scale public events. The first Tubecon was held in August 2014 in Hartwall Arena, Helsinki with over 5,000 attendees. 1 Tubecon has been held 25 times in four countries (Finland Sweden Spain Switzerland and Switzerland) with more than 120,000 people who attended all events. p>In recent years Tubecon has grown significantly as the YouTube and online influencer scene has also increased. The biggest Tubecon events attracted more than 18,000 attendees and included more than 200 YouTubers or online influencers.

p>Tubecon's event programming was created in collaboration with local online influencers. It includes multiple program elements such as Meet & Greets and Tubecon Video Awards, panels and concerts. Tubecon 2018 will be held in Finland, Sweden and Germany and letters of intent were signed in Romania, Latvia, and Austria. [3]

p>The story of Tubecon began in 2014 when Finnish creators decided to put together an event in which their viewers and they could get to know each other in a safe and enjoyable way. [4]

p>Tubecon 2015 took place in Hartwall Arena in August 2015[5] with over 10,000 visitors.

p>The Finnish Tubecon was held between 12 and 13 August in 2016. The second day was completely sold out. The event was attended by 18,500 attendees. [6]

p>Sweden[edit]

p>Tubecon in Sweden had its beginning on January 6, 2016 in Stockholm with more than 4,500 visitors. They also did a tour during autumn, that began on 9 September in Vasteras and ended on 10 December in Kungsbacka. About 50 YouTube creators visited 8 cities in total. More than 15,000 people visited Tubecon events in Sweden during 2016.

p>The Tubecon was held in Germany at the Turbinenhalle Oberhausen on February 20 in 2016. Special VIP and Aftershow Tickets were also available.

p>Finnish event was held at Hartwall Arena on 12-13 August with around 17,500 visitors. [8]

p>The first-ever Tubecon Spain was organized on the 18th of February at the wiZink Center in Madrid. https://telegra.ph/Minecraft-Dungeons-on-XCloud-has-been-Optimized-for-Touchscreens-09-16 The event was attended by more than 4,000 people and more than 200 Spanish creators. [9]

p>Tubecon Switzerland was first organized in Zurich's Hallenstation on the 29th of December. Around 2,500 people attended the event. [11]

p>The Finnish Tubecon was held in Messukeskus Helsinki from 17-18 August for the first time. The theme for the event was "My Story". The event was attended by around 200 Finnish YouTubers. Tubecon hosted creators from around the world including the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Thailand, and Germany in the first ever Tubecon World Meet. International creators included Bars and Melody, Jon Cozart and his alias Paint, Softpomz and MrTrashPack. The event also introduced a new TubeCity concept, where various categories like beauty, gaming and fashion, and food had their own blocks in the city-like event space. Tubecon launched Tube Academy, a new educational track that invited creators and anyone interested in learning more about the field of video production and industry. [12]
