p>There's a good news story on NFTs! Mojang has released a new guide to the rules of NFTs and Blockchain.

/p>

p>There are a lot of scams out there regarding NFTs, especially when it comes to companies that use "blockchain" when they don't require it. Thankfully, Mojang have listened and put out some rules and the basic idea is that "integrations of NFTs into Minecraft are generally not something we will accept or support" they stated.

/p>

p>Their latest news article provides an introduction to what NFTs are, and provides a brief explanation of why they have rules for server owners and content creators, which is to "ensure that Minecraft remains a community where everyone has access to the same content". Part of the problem is the way in which NFTs "create models of scarcity and exclusion that violate our Guidelines and the spirit of Minecraft".

/p>

p>Mojang make their position firmly clear on it all declaring that "As as a result, to ensure that Minecraft players have an enjoyable and safe experience, blockchain technologies are not allowed to be integrated into our Minecraft client and server applications, nor are they utilized to create NFTs associated with any game-related content, such as worlds, persona items, skins, or any other mods. ".

/p>

p>This is great, because it could prevent another Blockverse project, which was supposed to be a "on-chain Ethereum NFT that would allow the creation of a unique P2E in Minecraft". Can you guess what happened? They took a large sum of money and then went missing with the money. https://recordinch80.edublogs.org/2022/09/15/download-minecraft-full-version-for-free-on-laptop/ </p>

p>However they're not ruled out using blockchain in Minecraft if it might "allow for more secure gaming or other practical and inclusive applications in gaming" but they're currently no plans to use it at the moment.
