p>Minecraft: Story Mode - A Telltale Game Series is an episodic, narrative-driven game series based in Minecraft's blocky world which will be released in 2015 for PC, Mac, mobile devices and what Mojang calls "Xbox consoles" and "PlayStation consoles." Telltale has offered clarifications on platforms.

p>The game is unique in its storyline that is dependent on the choices that players make, similar to Telltale's other offerings, Tales from the Borderlands, Game of Thrones, The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead. Telltale claims that the Telltale game series will bring together familiar characters with new themes to create a completely unique Minecraft experience. It is in the spirit of the Minecraft community and continues to inspire a generation.

p>Mojang provides a little more information about its story-telling strategy on its blog: "We don't intend to make an official story for Steve or describe the world of Minecraft in depth. It's going to be a fun game."
