NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of visitors from the United States who visited Israel during the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022 which is an increase of 4% from the year before, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.

"It is so thrilling to see yet another rise in the number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking numbers in 2019," stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. Canada is also on track, just like the United States, to surpass its tourist arrivals into Israel.
