p>Microsoft and Mojang do not just have a story-based Minecraft game to showcase at Minecon 2015, they're also unveiling a beta version Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition. This release will ditch the less-than-perfect Java code of desktop versions in favor of native Windows code, and has some roots with the Pocket Edition you typically find on phones. Through an update that should be available "soon" you'll be able to create worlds with mobile gamers. The construction title will, surprise! take full advantage of Windows 10's numerous Xbox tie-ins like 8-way gaming (both locally and online) and video recording.
