p>The Xbox lineup for Gamescom-Microsoft's first in-person appearance since 2019, has been revealed.

p>Microsoft has revealed its plans for the upcoming Gamescom 2022 (opens in new tab) event, which will take place later this month in Cologne, Germany. This year's Gamescom 2022 event will be Microsoft's first in-person appearance at Gamescom since the event began in 2019. However those who are unable to attend (which is, let's face it is the majority of us) the event will have a livestreamed event (opens new tab) which will include games and interviews from a variety of studios.

p>The Xbox Booth at Gamescom livestream will start at 5 am PT/8 am ET on August 25 (it's in Europe, remember) and run until 11 am PT/2 pm ET. The broadcast in English will be available in German and French as in addition to Italian, Spanish (Latin American and Castilian), Brazilian Portuguese and Chinese (Simplified). The indie platformer Planet of Lana, due to release later this year, is another one I am looking forward to.

p>For those who are able to attend Gamescom in person, Microsoft will have a selection of games available for public play (including Lies of P and Planet of Lana), and also an opportunity to take a picture with, among others like the VASCO robot from Starfield and a five-meter-wide Broodmother spider from Grounded If that's what you're into.
