p>The makers of a recently Minecraft documentary have posted it to The Pirate Bay in the hope that those who torrent it will also contribute money their way.

p>"We wanted to visit here first because we knew the movie will end up here in the end and the most effective way to start would be opening an exchange," wrote the company.

p>"Torrents and piratery are ways to survive and it's unlikely to change anytime soon."

p>The trio urge those who enjoy their movie to purchase a DRM-free digital copy for US$8(AU$7.69) or DVDs for $20 (AU$19.23).
