"The United States remains our biggest market for tourism to Israel. Before the outbreak of COVID-19 there was a record-breaking number of tourism numbers each month. We are delighted to see this shift and anticipate an ongoing upward trend for months or even years. In line with the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass its tourism numbers in Israel, reaching 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 and 6000 in August. Gal Hana, Consul for Canada and Director of the Israel Ministry of Tourism said that "it's so exciting to witness the way that tourism in Canada is booming." We're close to reaching our record-setting numbers for the year 2019, and we are anticipating that this surge in tourism to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians feel more at ease in Israel.
