NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel during the months of July and August. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022, an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. Canada, not too far from that of the United States of America, is poised to surpass the number of tourists visiting Israel. Israel received more than 4.6 million tourists in the year of 2019. 969,600 came of the United States. The country's official reopening for all tourists in May was a success, with more than 600,000.
