Hi Cherry, on eHarmony we can send a smile except when we choose to look at profiles on the "What if…" option. There we can start communications only through eHarmony's guided communication (starts with 5 questions) or by sending an eH-mail. My experience has been that skipping to eH-mail tends to scare men away (because you cannot return to the guided communication after an eH-mail) but the 5 questions has not had a good response either. What do you suggest that I do? Should I let eHarmony know that they need to loosen up their guided communication more, and allow more room for smiling or short comments without forgoing the guided communications route? I have been on eHarmony now for about a year and I am frustrated with the contstraints of their guided communications. Do you have any contact with the eHarmony folks? I find your advice very helpful!
