NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of visitors from the United States who visited Israel during July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022, an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. Israel received more than 4.6 million tourists in the year of 2019. 969,600 were of the United States. The country's official reopening to all travelers in May saw more than 600,000.
