<p>- Install PolyMC via the Discover Software Centre on Steam Deck or Flathub directly for desktop Linux. - Launch PolyMC and then add your account to the upper right corner. It is compatible with Mojang logins as well as Microsoft logins. - Go into the main PolyMC Settings, click Minecraft in the left-hand panel, then select the option to close PolyMC when the game window is opened. In the event that you load the game in Game Mode / Deck UI on Steam Deck it will be a blur between the two windows. Check that in the PolyMC Settings that Java is updated to the latest version, which is needed for the latest version of Minecraft. Click Add Instance on the upper left corner, then pick either normal Minecraft or search for mods using the built-in search feature and it installs everything to get started. If you want to launch directly from Steam you must go to the Games menu on the top, then click Add a game that is not Steam and then find PolyMC in the list of games.
