My oldest pic on my profile is 4 years old. My kids, my family and my friends are not for public view on a dating site. I wonder if people who put them on their profiles asked them in advance if it would okay to do so? What I didn’t know I should/could really do, because I’m too polite sometimes, is leave if they are NOT what they said they were. I regret that I spent an entire evening with a man who was NOT the man in his pictures and I immediately wanted to go home. As the evening dragged on, he presented worse and worse. I think we both would have been better off if I immediately said, “I’m sorry, but you don’t appear to be the person in your pictures and dishonesty is a deal-breaker for me”. Maybe with what I’ve learned from you, I’ll have the guts/confidence to do so if this situation ever presents itself again. Many thanks.
