I still haven’t seen the episode, but maybe she was required to go to the therapist to show that she is “working on herself” or whatever. Said it before, I’ll say it again: Emily is the only one who seems truly comfortable in her own skin. She seems happy and shouldn’t let society pressure her into something she doesn’t want.
