p>A Delaware student spent two years developing the virtual world he called Titan City in Minecraft.

/p>

p>Titan City is constructed out of 4.5 million Minecraft building blocks. It also contains 96 buildings.

/p>

p>Duncan Parcells says it has taken the two years he spent to construct the project, and he is averaging five hours a week on the project.

/p>

p>His first building was a virtual version of the World Trade Center, which took 18 months to complete.

/p>

p>The 19-year-old, however, says Titan City is not a realistic model of New York.

/p>

p>He told the BBC, "It's inspired New York."

/p>

p>"A majority of people believe it's a recreational activity, but it's not."

/p>

p>He built the city using the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft but has now transferred the city to the PC version that is, he claims, provides more construction options.

/p>

p>Mr. Parcells plans to build an airport and an arena for sports.

/p>

p>"I guess it's an outlet for architecture and energy," he said.

/p>

p>"I've always been a fan of architecture. I'm most proud of the less modern builds, the more Victorian, art deco designs.

/p>

p>"A lot of people drop by and want to stroll around and explore or help with the build. A lot of them help with the construction of roads."

/p>

p>While Titan City has been welcomed by all who have visited it The entrepreneur Parcells said that he has kept his virtual world separate from his actual life. https://xwcb.info/ </p>

p>He said, "I've kept this under cover. It's sort of like a parallel existence that I don't speak about, but people are beginning to discover."

/p>

p>"My parents think it's cool. I'm sure they're happy that I don't do it all the time."

/p>

p>Microsoft recently agreed to buy Minecraft Studio Mojang for $2.5bn (PS1.5bn).

/p>

p>Markus Persson, aka Notch announced that the game had reached 100 million users in February 2014.

/p>

p>After the initial purchase, Minecraft is free to download and play. However, in-game purchases are available.

/p>

p>The game is set in a virtual world comprised of cubes made from various materials. The majority of these materials can be used to construct blocks, while some can be made into usable raw materials like iron, wood, and diamond.

/p>

p>The game demands you to survive by building shelters with blocks and transform raw materials and combinations thereof into items (swords and armour, bows and so on.) to defeat the many monsters in the game.
